COMPASS (Coaching Minority Progress and Academic Success in Science) is a peer mentoring organization focused on supporting first-year students in the Mellon College of Science. The primary objectives of COMPASS include fostering connections and relationships with peers, mentors, and faculty/advisors to enhance academic, personal, and professional development. This organizations aims to contribute to the growth of underrepresented minorities in scientific, mathematical, and medical fields by maintaining and increasing their participation.
