The Peace, Justice, and Conflict Resolution (PJCR) minor, available to all Duquesne students, aligns with the university’s mission by aiming to contribute to the creation of a more peaceful and just community. Students who enroll in this program will explore the root causes of war, violence, and oppression, develop an awareness of non-violent conflict resolution strategies, cultivate a strong sense of social responsibility, and may other oppurtinities. This interdisciplinary program draws from a variety of courses offered by departments such as History, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, International Relations, and Theology.
