The Women and Minorities in Physics group at Pitt was formed to create and foster a community of aspiring physicists and astronomers. Our goals are to: Promote the work and accomplishments of women and minorities in physics. Discuss and address issues in the department. Create and offer mentorship opportunities. Organize outreach events for the public. Organize career development workshops.
